New Delhi. During the holy month of Shravan, an exemplary spirit of devotion and service was witnessed in the Anand Parbat area during the Kanwar Yatra. Brahm Koti Charitable Trust (Regd.) organized the Anand Parbat Shiv Camp to welcome and serve the devotees carrying Kanwars. The service camp was held from Wednesday, August 5, 2026, to Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Kamal Hotel T-Point, New Rohtak Road, Anand Parbat. During the seven-day camp, facilities such as cold drinking water, a community kitchen, medical assistance, and a resting area were provided to Shiva devotees travelling through the area from Delhi and other regions.
The main objective of the camp organized by Brahm Koti Charitable Trust was to provide essential facilities to Kanwariyas during their journey, help them overcome fatigue, and offer them relief before they continued their onward journey. Special arrangements for cold drinking water were made for the devotees who were travelling long distances in the scorching heat. A community kitchen was also organized, where Kanwariyas were served meals and prasad. Medical assistance was provided for devotees facing health-related difficulties during their long journey. A dedicated resting area was also arranged where tired Kanwariyas could stop and take some much-needed rest.
The office-bearers and volunteers of the trust welcomed the Kanwariyas visiting the camp with devotion and a spirit of service. Babu Lal Gupta, Chairman and President of the trust, described serving Shiva devotees during the Kanwar Yatra as a form of worship of Lord Shiva himself. He said that it was a matter of great fortune to serve devotees during the Kanwar Yatra and that all arrangements at the camp had been made with this भावना in mind. Sanjay Gupta, General Secretary of the trust, played an important role in managing the arrangements at the camp.
Trust Treasurer Manoj Aggarwal actively contributed to the arrangements for the event. Secretary Duli Chand also played an important role in the service activities and took care of the needs and convenience of the Shiva devotees. Joint Secretary Ramesh Kumar contributed to serving the Kanwariyas and making the necessary arrangements at the camp. Organization Secretary Pt. Trilok Chand Sharma also actively participated in ensuring the smooth functioning of the camp. All office-bearers and volunteers worked together, making the service of Shiva devotees their top priority.
Through the camp, Brahm Koti Charitable Trust made an effort to uphold the spirit of “Service to Humanity is Service to God.” Throughout the event, an atmosphere of enthusiasm and devotion prevailed among the Shiva devotees, while chants of “Har Har Mahadev” filled the Anand Parbat area with spiritual fervor. The Kanwariyas also expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the facilities and services provided at the camp.
Babu Lal Gupta, Sanjay Gupta, Manoj Aggarwal, Duli Chand, Ramesh Kumar, and Pt. Trilok Chand Sharma, along with all the workers and supporters of the trust, contributed continuously to the service activities throughout the seven-day camp. The camp organized by the trust became an example of social service alongside religious devotion. The office-bearers associated with the event said that serving the devotees of Lord Shiva was a blessed and fortunate opportunity for them. They also expressed their commitment to continue organizing similar religious, social, and public service initiatives in the future.
