“Blindsided” to Release in Five Indian Languages

Director KD Sandhu Says “Blindsided” Combines Action, Thrills, and a Meaningful Message

The land of Punjab has given birth to numerous talented individuals, including actors, actresses, producers, and directors. Almost every city in Punjab has theaters showcasing diverse performances. One such personality born in Jalandhar, who has brought pride not only to his city but to the entire state of Punjab and India, is Kamaldeep Singh Sandhu, popularly known in the film industry as KD Sandhu. A renowned writer, producer, director, and expert action director, Sandhu is also an esteemed member of organizations like IMPPA and IFTDA.

While speaking, KD Sandhu shared his journey, saying, “I began my career in December 1996 as an actor in the film industry under SWA and Films Craft Federation Mumbai (Bollywood). I have worked across the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Punjabi film industries. Additionally, I have served as an assistant director to notable Bollywood filmmakers like David Dhawan, Guddu Dhanoa, Dev Anand, Gulzar Sahab, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Imran Khalid. In stunt direction, I have collaborated with renowned names like Tinu Verma, Shyam Kaushal, Ram Shetty, Jai Singh Nijjar, Mohan Baggar, and Veeru Devgan. Over the past 29 years, I have been actively contributing to the film industry.”

He further revealed, “After years of experience in the industry, I am now producing and directing my home production, an action-thriller film titled ‘Blindsided,’ under the banner of ‘Mickey Flicks Entertainment Film’ in collaboration with ‘KD Arts Films International.’ I have also written the story of this film, which I am confident will be well-received by audiences.”

The film has been shot across multiple locations, including Mumbai (Bollywood), Chandigarh, and Rajasthan in India, as well as international locations such as Armenia, Greece, and Georgia. The star cast includes Uday Bir Sandhu, Farah Khan, Akanksha Shandilya, Saurabh Agnihotri, Dharmendra Gupta, Mohammad Umar, and Chitra Sharma, among others.

The music of “Blindsided” is composed by MR, with Ujjwal Roy Chowdhury and Manoj Bhaskar contributing as music directors. The songs are sung by Munawwar Ali, Alam Sheikh, Deepika Upreti, Sulakshana, and Khushboo Jain. Cinematography is handled by Shridharan Akki, Arjun Kathuria, Gautam Badnami, Simon Bathula, and Saurabh Das.

KD Sandhu also mentioned, “‘Blindsided’ will be released in multiple Indian languages, making it accessible to a wide range of audiences. The film is expected to release across India soon.”
