Children Enliven the Stage with Their Acting at the Children’s Ramleela Festival

New Delhi: In the Ramleela staged by the Children’s Festival Ramleela Committee at ISKCON Chowk DDA Ground, Sector-13, Dwarka, schoolchildren brought to life various episodes from the life of Lord Shri Ram. Scenes like Bharat Milap, the journey to Panchavati, the protection of sages, the killing of Maricha, and the abduction of Sita particularly captivated the audience. A large crowd gathered to witness the heartfelt performances of the young actors, who were highly praised for their enthusiasm and dedication.

On this occasion, the committee’s chairperson, Mrs. Pratima Khandelwal, honored the chairman of OK Model School, Mohan Garden, Mr. Om Kumar Pundir, Director Dr. Ravi Kumar, Principal Dr. Nirmal, and school teachers Mrs. Renu Chauhan, Jyoti Mathur, and Kiran Sarna by presenting mementos and offering them ceremonial shawls. She emphasized that this Ramleela performance by the children is a significant effort to connect the future generation with our cultural heritage.

In his guest address, Director Dr. Ravi Kumar appreciated the children’s performances and remarked that the Ramayana offers inspiration for every aspect of life. He stressed that such events are essential for the moral and cultural upliftment of society. Encouraging the children, he added that platforms like these play a crucial role in building their confidence and personal development.
