New Delhi – The Sanatan Research Institute held a grand civic honor for the world-renowned scientist Shyam Sundar Rathi at Sangat Bhavan, New Delhi. The event was graced by notable figures, including Dr. Avinash Jaiswal, Senior Promoter of RSS, Swami Rameshwaranand (Neurosurgeon), Iqbal Singh Lalpura, National President of the Minority Commission, Dr. Rakesh Jain, National Co-Coordinator of Environmental Activities, and Dr. Mahant Govind Tripathi, among hundreds of distinguished citizens.
During his address, Scientist Rathi made significant revelations regarding dam projects, stating that rivers are essentially imprisoned, with their waters buried in dam reservoirs. He elaborated on this concept in his research publication, “New Concepts and Mega Scientists.” Using the Hirakud Dam as a case study, he explained that the dam collects enough water throughout the year to irrigate 2 million acres of farmland, while it only serves 200,000 acres, leaving much of the water wasted.
Rathi also introduced an alternative to dam projects known as the Massive Water Tank (MSD Tank Technology), which he claims could replace the centuries-old dam system. This new approach would eliminate the need for any construction on rivers, allowing significant rainwater and river runoff—270 cubic kilometers—to be stored during the monsoon season. The overflow would continuously fill the massive tanks, while simultaneously generating electricity, potentially surpassing the output of traditional hydroelectric dams.
He assured that this innovative solution could provide drinking water for 1.45 billion Indians and achieve 100% irrigation coverage in the country. His message received a standing ovation from the audience, marking a moment of profound appreciation.
