New Delhi. Young advocates and law students preparing for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 2025–26 received extensive guidance and training at a special programme organized by the Delhi Bar Association at the Tis Hazari Court complex. The session aimed to provide new lawyers with a strong understanding of the exam pattern, legal language, reasoning ability, case law analysis, and judicial practicality.
The training programme was held at the Lal Chand Vats Hall, located on the Civil Side of Tis Hazari Court, from 3 PM to 5 PM, and witnessed a large turnout of students and recently enrolled advocates. The significant participation highlighted the growing seriousness and enthusiasm among aspirants regarding the upcoming Bar examination.
During the session, experienced advocates and academic experts offered detailed insights into the AIBE syllabus, subject-wise weightage, and techniques for solving the paper efficiently. Speakers emphasized that the examination is no longer dependent only on memory but increasingly focuses on legal interpretation, understanding of case laws, and analytical reasoning.
Experts explained key decisions of the Supreme Court and High Courts in simplified terms, noting that recent judicial rulings frequently form the basis of AIBE questions. In addition, the programme covered essential aspects of judicial practicality, including real court functioning, courtroom etiquette, document handling, and effective client communication.
The event became more impactful with the presence and guidance of Rohit Pandey, Senior Advocate and former Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association. His insights provided participants with practical direction and confidence for facing the AIBE.
The programme was organized with the active efforts of several members of the Delhi Bar Association, including Adv. Basant Ballabh Mishra, Adv. Ashutosh Pandey, Munna Singh, Rahul, Mukesh Kumar Jha, Raj Kumar Singh, Akshay Tiwari, Ms. Rubia, Satish Kumar Sharma, Rohan, Nitin, among others.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Archana Sinha, former Additional District & Sessions Judge, Delhi. She explained that the Bar examination should not be viewed merely as a book-based test but as a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate’s ability to understand legal language, develop reasoning, identify relevant case laws, and apply legal principles effectively.
The second prominent speaker, Advocate Rahul Kumar Verma, practicing at the Delhi High Court, guided students thoroughly on the complete AIBE syllabus, previous years’ question patterns, the usefulness of model question sets, and effective time-management strategies.
Advocate Mrityunjay Kumar Singh of the Delhi High Court shared his experiences and emphasized that after clearing the Bar exam, the real challenge lies in understanding court procedures, developing courtroom conduct, and enhancing quick decision-making abilities.
Director of Ambition Law Institute, Alok Ranjan, explained the importance of logic and interpretation in the exam, stressing that many questions are indirectly framed and require analytical thinking rather than rote learning.
The programme’s successful execution was made possible through the dedicated involvement of both senior and young advocates of the Delhi Bar Association.
