Lt. Governor, Delhi, Sh. V. K. Saxena distributed appointment letters to 398 newly recruited government officials in a function held today at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi. Total permanent government recruitments in Delhi government departments / civic agencies reaches 22,000 during the last one and half years.
149 dependent beneficiaries of deceased government servants get recruitment letters on compassionate grounds: selection done in a transparent, hassle-free manner.
· The objective of filling up posts on permanent basis in various departments/autonomous bodies/local bodies of GNCTD through a fair and transparent system of recruitment is to eliminate the system of contractual and ad-hoc appointments to vacant posts.
· LG informs that within a year and half, 22,000 more vacancies in various Departments of the Delhi Government will be filled.
