New Delhi : Sahitya Sabha, Kaithal, honored writer-journalist Prof. S.S. Dogra with the “Shri Dheeraj Trikha Memorial Journalism Award 2024” for his remarkable contributions and achievements in the field of journalism. The award ceremony took place at the Diamond Jubilee Auditorium of R.K.S.D. College during a literary event organized by the Sabha.
Dr. Tejinder, Press Secretary of Sahitya Sabha, shared that the event was presided over by Dr. Chandra Trikha, Director of the Urdu Wing, Haryana Sahitya & Sanskriti Academy. The program featured Dr. Chittaranjan Dayal Singh Kaushal, Director of the Sanskrit Wing of the Academy, as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries included Kamlesh Sharma (Patron), Sanjay Goyal (President), Amrit Lal Madan (Head), and Dr. Praduman Bhalla (General Secretary), along with the core team of the Sabha.
Prof. Dogra has conducted over 326 media workshops across 18 states and cities in India, as well as in Nepal. In addition to his workshops, he has authored five books on media education and produced several documentary films. For the past five years, he has been serving as Delhi Bureau Chief of Himalini, a Hindi monthly magazine published from Kathmandu, Nepal. Prof. Dogra is also an active member of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia and a dedicated social worker.
The recognition marks yet another milestone in Prof. Dogra’s illustrious career, highlighting his exceptional dedication to journalism and media education.
