New Delhi: The “Khelega Madipur, Khilega Madipur” campaign launched by the BJP Madipur Mandal in West Delhi is rapidly emerging as an inspiring model for promoting health, fitness, and sports culture alongside organizational activities. Under this initiative, party office-bearers and workers gather every Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. to participate enthusiastically in various sporting activities, including cricket, badminton, football, and rope skipping.

The innovative initiative is being led by BJP Madipur Mandal President Pradeep Yadav, whose vision is to encourage party workers to remain physically fit, mentally strong, and socially active. The campaign has been receiving appreciation from local residents as well as BJP leaders for its unique approach to community engagement and fitness promotion.

Praising the initiative, Madipur MLA Kailash Gangwal said that sports are not merely a source of entertainment but also a foundation for personality development. He noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, programs such as Fit India and Khelo India have given a new identity to sports culture across the country. According to him, the Madipur Mandal’s effort is a grassroots manifestation of the same vision. He emphasized that healthy and energetic workers are better equipped to serve society and the organization, adding that the campaign is also helping connect youth with sports while promoting a healthy and addiction-free society.

Sunita Kangra, Vice President of BJP Delhi Pradesh, described “Khelega Madipur, Khilega Madipur” as more than just a sports program. She said it is a movement for social awareness and public participation. In today’s fast-paced lifestyle, where people’s health is often neglected, such initiatives serve as an inspiration for society. She stressed the importance of encouraging greater participation of women and youth, noting that sports help develop discipline, confidence, and leadership qualities. She congratulated Pradeep Yadav and his team for their creative and socially beneficial effort.

Mohan Lal Gihara, President of the BJP Delhi Pradesh Scheduled Caste Morcha, termed the initiative exemplary. He said that just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently worked to promote sports and connect young people with sporting activities across the nation, this campaign is strengthening that vision at the local level. He added that if similar activities are introduced in BJP mandals across the country, they could evolve into a major movement for sports and public health.

Senior BJP leader Dharmveer Thagela also appreciated the campaign, stating that sports strengthen individuals both physically and mentally. He said that team spirit, discipline, and leadership skills developed through sports are beneficial not only for organizations but also for society as a whole.

Speaking about the initiative, Pradeep Yadav said that “Khelega Madipur, Khilega Madipur” is not merely a program but a positive thought process aimed at inspiring people toward fitness, discipline, and collective participation. He informed that every Sunday, a large number of BJP workers and local residents participate in the activities and pledge to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Among the regular participants are Bunty Yadav, Nimesh, Naveen Mittal, Sanjeev Sonkar, Ayush, Tara Chand, Sunny, Vishal Sehgal, Pukhraj Khorwal, Mishri Lal Khorwal, and Pukhraj , who actively contribute to making the campaign a success. Their enthusiasm reflects the growing popularity of the initiative within the community.

What began as a local effort is now setting a new benchmark by integrating sports and fitness into organizational culture. The campaign is not only energizing BJP workers but is also spreading awareness about the importance of sports and healthy living among residents. With increasing participation and positive public response, “Khelega Madipur, Khilega Madipur” has the potential to become a model for similar initiatives in other parts of Delhi and beyond.
