New Delhi: A newly installed transformer set up by BSES was inaugurated today in front of Arihant Nagar in Ward-93 under the Madipur Assembly constituency. The inauguration was carried out by popular MLA Kailash Gangwal in the presence of Madipur BJP Mandal President Pradeep Yadav, who presided over the event. Shakti Kendra Pramukh Jasveer Singh and Booth President Jaswant Jain also attended the programme along with local residents and party workers.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kailash Gangwal said that strengthening basic infrastructure has become essential in view of the increasing population and rising electricity demand in the area. He stated that the installation of the new transformer would provide major relief to residents facing issues such as low voltage, overloading and frequent power disruptions in Arihant Nagar and nearby localities.
He further said that development works are being carried out continuously in the Madipur Assembly constituency with public welfare as the top priority. According to him, improving electricity infrastructure is necessary to ensure uninterrupted power supply, especially during the summer season when electricity consumption rises sharply.
Madipur BJP Mandal President Pradeep Yadav said that the BJP remains committed to resolving public issues related to electricity, water, roads and sanitation. He thanked BSES officials for responding to the demands of local residents and completing the important project, which is expected to benefit a large number of consumers in the area.
Local residents also expressed happiness over the installation of the new transformer. Residents said that the locality had been facing frequent electricity fluctuations and faults due to excessive load on the existing system, particularly during peak summer months. They expressed hope that the new transformer would ensure smoother and more stable electricity supply in the area.
Several BJP workers and local citizens participated in the inauguration programme and appreciated the efforts being made for the development of the locality. The event concluded with residents thanking the MLA and officials for addressing a long-pending public concern.
