New Delhi: A tribute meeting was organized at the BJP Madipur Mandal office on the death anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh and a prominent nationalist thinker. On this occasion, BJP office-bearers, workers, and social activists paid floral tributes to his portrait and remembered his invaluable contribution to nation-building.
The program was attended by Ashok Kumar “Nirbhay”, Co-Provincial Publicity Head of Kreeda Bharati Delhi Pradesh; Pradeep Yadav, President of BJP Madipur Mandal; BJP leader Dharmveer Thagela; Mandal Treasurer Naveen Ji; Shakti Kendra Pramukh Mrs. Shobha Ji; and a large number of party workers. All present offered flowers to Dr. Mookerjee’s portrait and reaffirmed their commitment to his ideals.
Speakers at the gathering stated that Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee dedicated his entire life to the unity, integrity, and cultural nationalism of India. By founding the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, he provided a new direction to ideological politics in the country. His struggle for the principle of “One Nation, One Constitution, One Flag, and One Prime Minister” in Jammu and Kashmir continues to be remembered with gratitude by the nation.
Addressing the gathering, Ashok Kumar “Nirbhay” said that Dr. Mookerjee was not merely a political leader but a symbol of national consciousness. He remarked that Dr. Mookerjee’s struggle for the unity and sovereignty of India remains an inspiration for future generations. He further noted that Dr. Mookerjee’s contribution to strengthening the spirit of patriotism, dedication, and national pride is unparalleled.
Mandal President Pradeep Yadav said that Dr. Mookerjee’s ideals serve as a guiding force for every BJP worker. He emphasized that following the path shown by Dr. Mookerjee is essential for building a strong, prosperous, and self-reliant India.
BJP leader Dharmveer Thagela stated that Dr. Mookerjee’s life inspires people to place national interest above all else. He said that the sacrifice Dr. Mookerjee made for the unity and integrity of the nation will always remain etched in golden letters in the history of Indian democracy and nationalism. His ideas, he added, continue to inspire millions of Indians to serve the nation.
The program concluded with a collective pledge to remain dedicated to national service and public welfare. All participants resolved to spread Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s ideals among the masses and actively contribute to the nation-building process.
