The workshop was specially designed for the new generation of advocates, with the objective of strengthening their preparation for the Bar Examination along with enhancing practical legal understanding.
A large number of young advocates participated in the recently held workshop. During the sessions, participants were given detailed insights into the fundamental concepts of law, the constitutional framework, judicial procedures, and the professional responsibilities of an advocate. The speakers emphasized that the Bar Examination is not merely a formal test, but a crucial milestone for entering the legal profession, requiring thorough preparation and a clear perspective.
During the workshop, senior advocates D.K. Sharma, Deepak Tyagi, Vikas Goyal, along with former Honorary Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association Rohit Pandey, shared their extensive professional experiences. They explained how a balance of practical courtroom knowledge, deep understanding of law, and strong ethical values defines a successful advocate. Young lawyers were guided on topics such as case studies, courtroom conduct, effective argumentation, and preparation of legal documents. All speakers highlighted that continuous study and discipline are the keys to progress in the legal field.
Several young advocates who attended the program stated that the workshop not only provided clarity for examination preparation but also helped them understand the practical aspects of working in courts. They found direct interaction with senior advocates and learning from their experiences extremely beneficial. Such initiatives, they said, boost confidence among new advocates and make them more aware and responsible towards their profession.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Advocate Ashutosh Pandey stated that such training programs are an important step toward strengthening the judicial system. He emphasized that guiding new advocates in the right direction is a collective responsibility, so that they may understand the true definition and purpose of law. He also expressed hope that similar workshops would be organized in all district courts of Delhi in the future, enabling a larger number of young advocates to benefit.
Ashutosh Pandey further noted that the support of the Tis Hazari Bar Association and its senior members was the cornerstone of the workshop’s success. Thanking all the speakers and organizers, he said that only through collective efforts can the advocate community be empowered and unified.
